Saudi Ehsan platform opens Zakat al-Fitr donations through digital channels

RIYADH, March 18, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ehsan charitable platform announced it has begun receiving Zakat al-Fitr donations through its digital channels, as part of efforts to facilitate timely distribution to beneficiaries across the Kingdom.
The platform enables donors to complete their contributions through its website and mobile application by selecting the administrative region and specifying the number of individuals on whose behalf the donation is made.
The initiative is part of the sixth edition of the National Campaign for Charitable Work, aimed at supporting charitable and development programs through secure digital channels.
Zakat al-Fitr is distributed to eligible recipients ahead of Eid al-Fitr in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
