Saudi defense ministry signs MoU with Manga Productions to produce national content

Riyadh, February 26, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense signed a memorandum of understanding with Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), to cooperate on producing national content and highlighting the heroism of the armed forces.
The signing took place in the presence of Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Biyari.
The memorandum aims to support national content and develop media projects and high-quality productions intended to strengthen national belonging and document national stories through a modern narrative style reflecting Saudi identity.
It also covers cooperation on animated content, the creation of Saudi characters inspired by the armed forces environment, and initiatives targeting children and youth focused on national values and stories of armed forces personnel.
