Saudi Defense Ministry Launches Military Scholarship Program For Elite International Colleges

RIYADH, July 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense announced the launch of its military scholarship program to elite international military colleges under a renewed vision aimed at preparing qualified officers according to the highest international standards.
The program seeks to attract outstanding high school graduates and send 250 students annually for five years to 21 universities, academies and military colleges across nine countries.
The countries included in the program are the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Japan and China.
The ministry said the program is based on three pillars: military and academic qualification, the development of leadership and decision-making skills, and building a clear career path that enhances readiness and professionalism.
The program has enrolled thousands of talented students since its inception and is being relaunched under a renewed vision aligned with the ministry’s future aspirations.
The ministry said the program will contribute to developing leadership capabilities and strengthening the readiness of the Armed Forces.
