RIYADH, June 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry denied reports that Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj Governorate had been targeted.
Defense Ministry spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki described the reports as inaccurate.
“The activation of warning sirens in Al-Kharj Governorate early this morning was a precautionary measure following the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen, which disappeared near the border,” Al-Malki stated.
Investigations remain underway to determine the details and circumstances of the launch.
