Saudi Defense Minister Holds Calls With Romania and Türkiye Counterparts on Regional Escalation

Riyadh, March 12, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Prince Khalid bin Salman held separate phone calls Thursday with the defense ministers of Romania and Türkiye to discuss regional developments and the ongoing escalation.
During a call with Radu Miruță, the two sides condemned Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and reviewed the latest regional developments and their implications for regional and global security and stability.
In a separate call, Prince Khalid bin Salman also spoke with Yaşar Güler.
The discussion included condemnation of the Iranian aggression against Saudi Arabia and attacks targeting Türkiye, as well as the broader impact of the escalation on regional and international security.
Both sides reaffirmed solidarity and coordination regarding measures aimed at safeguarding security and stability.
