Saudi Defense Health Services Deploys Four Air Ambulance Aircraft for Hajj

RIYADH, May 27 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s air medical evacuation department is participating in this year’s Hajj season with four fully equipped aircraft dedicated to emergency medical care for pilgrims.
The department operates under the General Directorate for Health Services at the Ministry of Defense.
The aircraft are assigned to provide advanced emergency medical support during Hajj and operate in coordination with field hospitals, medical centers and ambulance units across the holy sites.
The deployment is aimed at ensuring rapid response times and timely medical intervention for critical cases.
The air medical evacuation fleet also continues to carry out patient transfers inside and outside Saudi Arabia as part of the Ministry of Defense’s integrated healthcare system.
