Saudi defence minister meets Qatar’s Emir in Doha

DOHA, February 4, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday at the Amiri Diwan in Doha.
During the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and extended wishes for further progress and prosperity to Qatar’s government and people.
Sheikh Tamim conveyed greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional developments and efforts to address them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Attending from the Saudi side was Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, adviser to the minister of defence for intelligence affairs.
Attending from the Qatari side were Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, and Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi.
