Saudi cybersecurity authority launches “Tahqaq” link verification service

RIYADH, Dec. 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Cybersecurity Authority has launched the “Tahqaq” service, aimed at enabling members of the public to safely and proactively verify the reliability of circulated links before accessing them.
The authority said the initiative forms part of its strategic programs to empower individuals to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and protection.
According to the authority, the “Tahqaq” service allows users to scan suspicious or circulated links, helping reduce risks associated with visiting links that may lead to unauthorized access to personal or sensitive data. The service also provides cybersecurity guidance to users, contributing to the mitigation of emerging cyber threats.
The service is offered through the National Portal for Cybersecurity Services (Haseen), in partnership with the authority’s technical arm, the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE).
“Tahqaq” is available via the unified WhatsApp number +966118136644, as well as through the Haseen portal at tahqaq.haseen.gov.sa, the authority said
