Paris, September 7, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met with French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati at the Palace of Versailles on Thursday, during his official visit to France aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Orchestral Masterpieces Concert in Paris and concluded with the signing of an executive program for cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and the Grand Palais, represented by the French Ministry of Culture.

Talks addressed bilateral cultural ties across sectors including music, film, heritage, museums, fashion, libraries, theater and performing arts, and visual arts. The discussions also included activating the executive program between the Saudi Film Commission and the French National Centre of Cinema (CNC) to advance educational approaches in filmmaking.

The meeting further reviewed executive programs signed during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Saudi Arabia in December 2024, which aim to deepen international cultural exchange and expand the growing cultural partnership between the Kingdom and France.
