Saudi crown prince, Zelensky discuss ties, Ukraine crisis

RIYADH, April 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed bilateral relations, cooperation and regional and international developments during talks in Jeddah.
The discussions covered the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments in the Ukraine crisis.
Zelensky said in a Telegram post on Friday that the meeting was productive and that Saudi Arabia and Ukraine were developing a strategic security agreement.
He said the planned agreement would cover three areas: exports of Ukrainian defence expertise and capabilities, expanded energy cooperation and stronger food security.
Senior Saudi and Ukrainian officials attended the meeting, including the two countries’ foreign ministers and national security officials.
