Saudi crown prince, Syrian president discuss regional de-escalation

RIYADH, July 31 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa discussed efforts to ease regional tensions and strengthen security during a telephone call on Thursday.
Al-Sharaa condemned the attempted attacks on Saudi oil facilities, which Syria attributed to Iran-backed militias operating from Iraq.
The Syrian president reaffirmed his country’s support for Saudi Arabia’s security and sovereignty.
The two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations, potential areas of cooperation and regional and international developments.
