Saudi Crown Prince holds calls with UK, Cyprus and Türkiye leaders on regional developments

RIYADH, March 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a series of calls with international leaders to discuss the latest regional developments and their implications for security and stability.


In a phone call with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the two leaders discussed the impact of the ongoing escalation in the region on regional and international security. Starmer expressed the United Kingdom’s support for Saudi Arabia following Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom and backed measures aimed at safeguarding its sovereignty, stability and territorial integrity.


The Crown Prince also received a call from President Nikos Christodoulides of Cyprus, during which both leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and its implications for security and stability. They also emphasized their rejection of actions that could undermine the region’s stability.


In a separate call with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, the Crown Prince condemned Iranian attacks targeting Türkiye and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for measures aimed at preserving the country’s security and territorial integrity.


The leaders also discussed the broader impact of the ongoing military escalation on regional and international security.
