Saudi Arabia Welcomes Jordan’s Plan for Regular Amman-Sana’a Flights

RIYADH, July 18, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Saudi Arabia welcomed a Jordanian initiative to operate regular commercial flights between Amman and Sana’a to support civilian travel and address humanitarian needs in Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the Yemeni government’s approval of the initiative, describing it as a positive step toward serving the Yemeni population and reducing humanitarian suffering.
Saudi Arabia urged the Houthis to engage constructively with the proposal and end escalatory actions that worsen the country’s crisis.
The Kingdom also reaffirmed its support for efforts to establish security and stability in Yemen, preserve its sovereignty and meet the aspirations of its people.
