Saudi Arabia Tops Khaleeji 27 Group, Sets Up Semi-Final Against Qatar

JEDDAH, Oct 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia advanced to the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup after finishing top of Group A with a perfect nine-point record, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The group stage of Khaleeji 27 concluded after 12 matches, with Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar securing places in the last four.
Saudi Arabia defeated Kuwait 1-0, Oman 3-0 and Iraq 2-0 to finish first in Group A.
The Saudi side scored six goals across its three matches without conceding.
The tournament resumes on Saturday, when Saudi Arabia faces Qatar at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
The UAE will meet Oman in the other semi-final at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium.
