Saudi Arabia to unveil Dakar Rally 2027 route in Paris on Tuesday

RIYADH, May 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Motorsport Company said it will hold a press conference in Paris on Tuesday to unveil the route of the 2027 Dakar Rally Saudi Arabia, which will mark the event’s eighth consecutive edition in the kingdom.
The company, which markets the Saudi Dakar Rally under the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and with oversight from the sports ministry, said the conference will present details of the new route and the main stages and experiences planned for the next edition.
The event will be attended by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Saudi Motorsport Company, Chief Executive Mansour Al-Moqbel, ASO Chief Executive Yann Le Moenner and rally director David Castera, along with international media representatives.
The company said the unveiling extends the momentum of previous editions and reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global destination for motorsport and a host of major sporting events.
