WASHINGTON, November 12, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia is expected to host a U.S.–Saudi investment summit in Washington, D.C. on November 19, coinciding with the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, according to a source familiar with the planning.
The Crown Prince is scheduled to meet U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on November 18, a White House official said last week.
The summit, which will be held on the sidelines of the visit, is not part of the Crown Prince’s official schedule. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity as the event has not yet been publicly announced, said both President Trump and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince may make an appearance, though their participation is not currently confirmed.
According to CBS News, which first reported the event, the summit will take place at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia and the U.S.–Saudi Business Council.
The upcoming visit by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud comes as Washington continues to encourage Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords, normalizing relations between Israel and Muslim-majority nations.
Saudi Arabia remains one of the largest purchasers of U.S. defense equipment, and discussions between the Crown Prince and President Trump are also expected to include progress on a potential U.S.–Saudi defense cooperation agreement.
Last month, the Financial Times reported that both sides hoped such an agreement could be finalized during the Crown Prince’s visit to Washington.
