Saudi Arabia to fine transporters of visit visa holders to Makkah during Hajj

RIYADH, April 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia will fine by up to SAR100,000 anyone transporting visit visa holders to Makkah and the holy sites during the Hajj season, the Interior Ministry announced.
Vehicles used for the transport will be confiscated. The measure will apply from the first day of Dhu Al-Qi’dah until the end of Dhu Al-Hijjah 14.
The ministry urged compliance with Hajj regulations and called for reporting offenders by dialling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and 999 elsewhere in the kingdom.
