RIYADH, April 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia signed its participation contract for Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade on Sunday, marking the Kingdom's transition from planning into full implementation ahead of the event in Serbia.
The signing underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to the expo's theme, "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All," with the Kingdom set to deliver a pavilion aligned with its Vision 2030 national transformation agenda.
"Today's signing is an important step that advances our participation from planning into implementation. Saudi Arabia looks forward to contributing an experience that demonstrates how play — through sport, music, and digital creativity — can create opportunity, strengthen connections, and inspire a shared future," said Rakan Tarabzoni, Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs and Saudi Arabia's Section Commissioner for Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade.
Saudi Arabia's pavilion will focus on showcasing sport, culture, and creative industries as tools for empowering individuals and building communities. The Kingdom said it will work closely with the Expo organizer and participating countries to foster cultural exchange and people-to-people engagement throughout the event.
Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade is scheduled to take place in Belgrade, Serbia.
