Saudi Arabia’s Real GDP Grows 4.8% in Q3 2025, GASTAT Says

Riyadh, December 8, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew 4.8% in the third quarter of 2025 compared with the same period last year, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said in its Q3/2025 bulletin.
Growth was driven by increases across all main economic activities year-on-year. Oil activities rose by 8.3%, non-oil activities by 4.3%, and government activities by 1.4%.
Seasonally adjusted real GDP increased 1.4% compared with the second quarter of 2025. Quarter-on-quarter, oil activities grew by 3.3%, non-oil activities by 0.6%, and government activities by 1.1%.
GASTAT reported that most economic activities recorded positive annual growth, with petroleum refining posting the fastest expansion at 11.9% year-on-year and 3.9% quarter-on-quarter.
