Saudi Arabia, regional states condemn Israel’s Gaza ceasefire violations

Riyadh, February 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, United Arab Emirates, State of Qatar, Republic of Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Arab Republic of Egypt and Republic of Türkiye condemned Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire in Gaza Strip, saying they had killed and wounded more than 1,000 Palestinians.

The statement warned that the violations risk escalating tensions and undermining efforts to consolidate calm and restore stability as regional and international parties work to advance the second phase of Donald Trump’s peace plan and implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.

It described the repeated violations as a direct threat to the political process and to efforts aimed at improving security and humanitarian conditions in Gaza, and called for full commitment to ensuring the success of the plan’s second phase.

The ministers urged all parties to exercise restraint and preserve the ceasefire, and called for conditions to move toward early recovery and reconstruction, as well as a just and lasting peace based on Palestinian self-determination and statehood in line with international law, relevant Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
