Saudi Arabia Provides SAR1.38 Billion in New Economic Support to Yemen

Riyadh, Sept 21, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia announced new economic development support to the Republic of Yemen amounting to SAR1.38 billion, following the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the recommendation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The announcement came in response to an appeal from Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, and as confirmation of the Kingdom’s continued support for the council and the Yemeni government.
The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen will channel the funds to support the Yemeni government budget, provide subsidies for petroleum derivatives, and finance the operating budget of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Governorate.
The initiative aims to strengthen security, stability, and development in Yemen, while supporting the government’s efforts to achieve economic, financial, and monetary stability through governance-based reforms.
