AMMAN, December 2, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan presented Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Finance Estephan Salameh with $90 million in financial support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Palestine. The handover took place at the Saudi embassy yesterday as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to support Palestine in 2025.
Prince Mansour bin Khalid said the support reflects the Saudi leadership’s dedication to assisting the Palestinian government in meeting its financial obligations. He emphasized that the aid strengthens the resilience of the Palestinian people and helps alleviate humanitarian and economic challenges. He noted that the assistance includes support to vital sectors such as health and education, as part of the Kingdom’s continuous economic, developmental, relief and humanitarian contributions to Palestine.
He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s firm and historical commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to establish an independent state. He also highlighted the Kingdom’s recent political efforts, carried out jointly with France, during the high-level International Conference on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Question and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, which contributed to broad international recognition of the State of Palestine and the two-state solution.
For his part, Minister Estephan Salameh praised Saudi Arabia’s continuous financial and political support, stressing the importance of this contribution in helping ease the financial crisis facing the State of Palestine, a crisis aggravated by recent Israeli measures. He expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s steadfast historical position toward the Palestinian people.
He also conveyed the Palestinian Authority’s gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continued political, economic and humanitarian support for Palestine.
