Kuala Lumpur, October 13, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has won two major honors at the Dragons of Asia Awards, receiving the Blue Dragon for Best Campaign in Japan and the Gold Dragon for Brand Building and Awareness.

The recognition, announced during the awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, highlights the success of the “Meet Saudi” initiative, which promotes cultural communication between Saudi Arabia and Japan ahead of Expo 2025 Osaka.

Launched during the International Participants Meeting in Himeji in January 2025, the campaign included a tour across seven Japanese cities — Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo — designed to build anticipation for the Saudi Pavilion’s opening.

The initiative showcased the Kingdom’s cultural and creative vision through innovative storytelling, earning top-tier media coverage and ranking first among international participants in Japan. It attracted 40% of nearly three million visitors to the pavilion and achieved record social media engagement.

Winning the Blue and Gold Dragons marks a new milestone in Saudi Arabia’s cultural diplomacy, strengthening its presence on the global stage and reinforcing the path toward Expo 2030 Riyadh.
