Saudi Arabia Opens Applications for 2026 Sales Season Discount Permits
RIYADH, July 21, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce announced the launch of the 2026 Sales Season, scheduled to run from August 1 through October 31.
Commercial establishments and online stores can now apply electronically for permits to offer promotional discounts during the three-month season.
The ministry said discounts offered under the programme will not be deducted from businesses’ annual discount allowance.
The season is intended to provide consumers with a wider selection of promotional offers, allowing them to compare prices and make informed purchasing decisions.
Businesses can apply for permits through the ministry’s online sales portal. The electronic service also enables establishments to print and display their permits for consumers.
