SHANGHAI, June 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia launched its national pavilion at Transport Logistic China 2026 in Shanghai, using the opening day of the exhibition to promote logistics investment opportunities and sign seven agreements with Chinese partners.

The pavilion is being held under the umbrella of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program and Invest Saudi. It includes 25 Saudi entities from the transport, logistics and investment sectors, reflecting Riyadh’s efforts to expand its role in global trade routes under Vision 2030.

The first day included the signing of seven memoranda of understanding and agreements aimed at supporting trade, technology transfer and industrial localization. The deals included a human capital development partnership between NIDLP and Huawei, cooperation between Elm and SUTPC on smart city digital solutions, and partnerships linked to electric mobility.

Other agreements focused on logistics and manufacturing, including plans connected to establishing a tire manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia. The deals form part of a wider push to attract international investors and deepen industrial cooperation with China.

Saudi officials also used the pavilion to present more than 75 investment opportunities across the logistics and transport sectors. Executive meetings were held with investors and industry leaders as Saudi Arabia seeks to increase private-sector participation in infrastructure and supply chain projects.

A workshop titled “Moving Forward” brought together transport and port officials to discuss supply chain resilience, innovation and integration between government and private-sector operators.

The Saudi pavilion is scheduled to continue its activities over the final two days of the exhibition, with further bilateral investor meetings and additional agreements expected as the kingdom works to strengthen its position as a logistics hub connecting three continents.
