Saudi Arabia issues more than 15,000 penalties for residency, labour and border violations during Ramadan

Riyadh, March 26, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports issued 15,208 administrative decisions during Ramadan 1447 AH against citizens and residents found in violation of residency, labour and border security regulations.


The penalties included imprisonment, fines and deportation.


The directorate urged citizens, residents, business owners and individuals not to transport, employ or shelter violators of residency, labour and border security laws, or provide them with any assistance in finding work, housing or transport.


It also called for cooperation in reporting violators through 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Eastern Province regions, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom, saying all reports would be handled confidentially.
