KUWAIT CITY, November 19, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission has inaugurated the Kingdom’s pavilion at the Kuwait International Book Fair 2025, held from November 19 to 29, marking a new step in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s regional and international cultural presence.
The Saudi participation aims to highlight the development of the publishing and translation sector and to showcase the growing role of cultural institutions across the Kingdom.
The pavilion brings together several national entities, including the King Abdulaziz Public Library, University of Hafr Al Batin, the King Fahad National Library, the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, and the Arabic Observatory of Translation.
Throughout the fair, the pavilion will host seminars, panel discussions, workshops, and poetry evenings featuring Saudi writers and intellectuals, reflecting the expanding dynamism of the literary movement in the Kingdom.
The participation underscores the depth of cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as both countries work to expand cooperation in publishing and translation and to strengthen Arab and Gulf cultural exchange. It also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which positions culture as a driver of development and a platform for dialogue between nations.
