Saudi Arabia Hosts WRC Rally 2025 as Competition Opens in Jeddah

JEDDAH, November 27, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The WRC Rally Saudi Arabia 2025 began yesterday in Jeddah, attended by Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal. The competition runs until November 29, marking the first time the Kingdom has hosted a round of the World Rally Championship.
The rally opened in the morning in Dhahban with the preparatory stage, a 4.56-kilometer session dedicated to testing and fine-tuning the cars ahead of the competition. The first day continued with the Jameel Motorsport Super Special Stage, held before a large crowd and extensive media presence, featuring strong performances from participating drivers.
The rally continues today with multiple special stages. Officials said that hosting the WRC finale reflects the Kingdom’s growing record of successfully organizing major global sporting events in recent years, reinforcing its international standing in line with national visions.
