Saudi Arabia Forecasts Heavy Rain, Hail Across Several Regions
RIYADH, Oct 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology forecast moderate to heavy rain and hail across parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah and Madinah, while unsettled conditions are expected across several other regions.
Light to moderate rain may affect Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, Qassim, Northern Borders and the Eastern Region.
Dust-stirring winds are also forecast across parts of those areas and Najran, while fog may develop along coastal areas of the Eastern and Makkah regions.
Over the Red Sea, winds could reach 50 km/h, with waves ranging from half a metre to more than two metres and sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds may reach 38 km/h, with waves ranging from half a metre to one metre and relatively calm conditions.
