Saudi Arabia Forecasts Dust, Heavy Rain, and Hail in Southern and Western Regions

Riyadh, September 9, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology forecast dust-stirring winds, moderate to heavy rainfall, and possible hail on Tuesday in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.
The center also reported gusty winds in areas of Najran, the Eastern Province, Riyadh, and Madinah.
Over the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 42–50 km/h, with waves reaching 1–2.5 meters, and sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at 15–30 km/h, with waves of 0.5–1.5 meters, and the sea remaining relatively calm.
