Saudi Arabia establishes Riyadh University for the Arts by royal order

Riyadh, March 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia has established the Riyadh University for the Arts under a royal order, creating a specialized institution dedicated to culture and the arts in the capital.
The university will be based in Riyadh and will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, according to the announcement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
The institution will function as an independent educational entity with financial and administrative autonomy and will offer specialized academic programs in various fields of culture and the arts.
The royal order also authorized the Minister of Culture to exercise the powers of the university’s board of trustees until the board is formally established under the institution’s governance system.
Authorities said the university is expected to contribute to developing specialized education in cultural and artistic fields and to preparing national talent in creative sectors.
The institution will also seek academic partnerships with international educational institutions to enhance knowledge exchange and support the development of cultural and creative industries in the Kingdom.
