Saudi Arabia Confirms Readiness at Salwa Port for FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 Travelers

RIYADH, December 1, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The General Directorate of Passports said it is fully prepared to serve travelers heading to the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, which will be held from December 1 to 18.

The directorate announced that it has reinforced the Salwa Port with qualified personnel and updated technical systems to ensure smooth entry and exit procedures for passengers.

Authorities urged citizens to check the validity of their passports before leaving the Kingdom. A minimum validity of three months is required for travel to Arab countries and six months for travel to all other destinations.

The directorate also reiterated that travelers to GCC member states must carry either a valid passport or a national ID card. Family registers and digital IDs displayed on the Absher and Tawakkalna platforms do not qualify as valid documents for international travel.
