Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli strike on military infrastructure in southern Syria

RIYADH, March 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia strongly condemned an Israeli strike targeting military infrastructure in southern Syria, describing it as a violation of international law and Syrian sovereignty, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

In a statement, the ministry said the Kingdom rejects the attack and the violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement.

Saudi Arabia called on the international community to put an end to Israeli violations of international laws and norms.

The Kingdom reaffirmed its solidarity with Syria and its support for efforts to preserve its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
