Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Official’s Entry Into Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound
RIYADH, September 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia condemned the entry of an Israeli official and a group of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday.
The ministry said the group entered the mosque’s courtyards under the protection of Israeli forces. It described the incident as a violation and a provocation to Muslims.
“Saudi Arabia reiterates its categorical rejection of the provocative practices and illegal and extremist acts of incitement and violence committed by Israeli occupation officials against Palestinians and the holy lands in occupied Palestine.”
The ministry called on the international community to act to stop such incidents, which it said violated international law and international humanitarian law.
