Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli move to reclassify West Bank land as state property

Riyadh, February 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry condemned a decision by Israeli occupation authorities to convert land in the West Bank into what it described as “state property” under occupation authorities, warning the move aims to impose a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied territory and undermines efforts to achieve peace and stability.
The ministry reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Palestinian land and rejected what it described as illegal measures that constitute a serious violation of international law.
It said the steps undermine the two-state solution and infringe on the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent sovereign state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
