Riyadh, October 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the Israeli Knesset’s preliminary approval of two bills seeking to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and legitimize sovereignty over an illegal colonial settlement, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of all settlement and expansionist measures carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities, stressing that such actions represent a violation of international law and undermine efforts to achieve peace in the region.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its firm and consistent support for the legitimate and historical rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with relevant international resolutions.
The ministry also emphasized the need for the international community to assume its full responsibility by enforcing international legitimacy resolutions, halting Israeli violations against Palestinian territories and civilians, and reviving the peace process based on the two-state solution to ensure lasting peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.
