Saudi Arabia condemns actions at Al-Aqsa and Israeli statements on annexation
RIYADH, September 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia condemned what its Foreign Ministry described as continued provocative actions by Israeli officials and a group of extremist settlers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as Israeli statements about annexing areas in southern Lebanon and Gaza, SPA reported.
The ministry said the actions at Al-Aqsa took place under the protection of Israeli forces. It described them as violations of international law that provoked Muslims around the world.
“The Kingdom condemns Israeli statements about annexing areas in southern Lebanon and areas extending as far as the ‘Yellow Line’ in the Gaza Strip, affirms its rejection of any Israeli attempt at expansion, and stresses the right of the brotherly Palestinian people to establish their independent state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital,” the ministry said.
