Saudi Arabia Announces Second TOURISE Forum for March 2027
RIYADH, September 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia will hold the second TOURISE Forum in Riyadh from March 23 to 25, 2027, bringing together representatives from tourism and related industries, the Ministry of Tourism announced on Wednesday.
The forum will be held under the patronage of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under the theme “Alliances That Move the World.”
Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the TOURISE Forum Board Ahmed Al-Khateeb announced the new edition, which will include participants from tourism, technology, investment, sustainability, culture and transport.
The program will examine investment opportunities and challenges across those sectors, with discussions focused on links between tourism, capital, technology and infrastructure.
“No single destination, company or organization will shape the future of tourism. Rather, it will be determined by the strength of the alliances we build together. Saudi Arabia has witnessed first-hand what can be achieved when ambitions, investments and strategic partnerships come together.”
The Ministry of Tourism said the inaugural TOURISE Forum had helped catalyze investments valued at $113 billion across destinations, hotels, retail, talent development and AI-powered platforms.
The ministry did not provide a breakdown of the investment figure or specify how much had been completed.
The announcement also cited Saudi Arabia’s tourism targets. The Kingdom surpassed its initial target of 100 million annual visitors in 2023 and subsequently raised its goal to 150 million visitors a year by 2030.
“Through the second edition of the TOURISE Forum, we are inviting the world to Riyadh to build the alliances that will shape the next 50 years of the tourism sector,” the minister added.
The ministry announced an initial group of speakers from tourism, hospitality, technology and destination development but did not provide their names in the SPA report.
Their sessions will cover their organizations’ work in travel, tourism and mobility, as well as areas identified for potential investment in the global tourism sector.
