NEW YORK, July 15, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim met Ireland’s Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment Darragh O’Brien in New York on Wednesday to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation.
The talks focused on climate action, energy and sustainable development.
The two ministers also exchanged views on progress toward achieving the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 2026 High-Level Political Forum.
