Saudi Arabia and BIE Sign SEE Agreement for Expo 2030 Riyadh Participants

PARIS, August 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia and the Bureau International des Expositions have signed the “SEE Agreement,” creating the legal and administrative framework under which countries and international organizations will participate in Expo 2030 Riyadh.
The framework addresses the practical requirements that participating delegations and their teams will encounter, including travel and visa arrangements, tax and customs facilitation, mobility services, and technical and administrative procedures.
It also establishes coordination mechanisms covering the design, construction and operation of international participation at the expo. By bringing these requirements under a defined framework, the agreement is intended to streamline procedures and reduce the administrative burden on participants before and throughout the event.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah signed the agreement with Bureau International des Expositions Secretary General Dimitri Kerkentzes. Expo 2030 Riyadh CEO Talal Al-Marri attended the signing ceremony.
The ceremony took place in France during the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
