Saudi Annual Inflation Reaches 1.8% in May 2026

RIYADH, June 15 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s annual inflation rate reached 1.8% in May 2026 compared with the same month a year earlier, according to the Consumer Price Index.
On a monthly basis, the Consumer Price Index rose by 0.2% compared with April 2026.
The Wholesale Price Index recorded an annual increase of 4.6% in May compared with May 2025.
Month-on-month, the Wholesale Price Index rose by 1.2% from April 2026.
The Consumer Price Index measures changes in prices paid by consumers for a fixed basket of 582 goods and services.
The Wholesale Price Index tracks price movements of goods at the pre-retail stage, based on a fixed basket of 343 items.
