Saudi Ambassador Discusses Defense and Aerospace Cooperation at Farnborough Airshow

FARNBOROUGH, July 23, Saudi Arabia Breaking News – Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz held talks with British officials and industry executives during a visit to the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 on Wednesday.
The meetings included representatives of British and international companies operating in the defense, aviation and aerospace sectors.
Discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in advanced technologies, innovation and industrial development, as well as ways to strengthen Saudi-British defense ties.
The meetings also reviewed existing areas of cooperation and explored new opportunities aligned with the defense and industrial priorities of both countries.
Prince Abdullah encouraged British companies to expand their long-term industrial presence in Saudi Arabia and participate in the Kingdom’s localization programmes.
Greater cooperation in advanced technologies and innovation could strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of the defense sectors in both countries, the ambassador said.
