Riyadh, December 6, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz attended the draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, held yesterday at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. She was accompanied by a delegation from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), headed by Yasser Al-Misehal.

The event was attended by U.S. President Donald Trump, President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum, Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, along with senior officials, national federation heads, and representatives of the qualified countries.

The ceremony comes as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico — the largest tournament to date in terms of participating teams and host cities.

The draw placed the Saudi Arabian national team in a group alongside Spain, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
