Saudi 911 Security Operations Centers Handle More Than 210 Million Calls

RIYADH, June 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Unified Security Operations Centers have handled more than 210 million calls across Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The National Center for Security Operations has supported safety, security and quality of life across the Kingdom through the Ministry of Interior’s Unified Security Operations Centers, which receive emergency calls through 911.

Calls are answered within two seconds and dispatched to relevant field agencies within 45 seconds, according to SPA.

The operations rooms have strengthened emergency response by supporting authorities in detecting and assessing potential threats and responding to incidents through advanced technologies, high-resolution surveillance systems and Saudi professionals fluent in around eight international languages.

The Unified Security Operations Center in Makkah Region has handled about 112.9 million calls since its establishment, while the Riyadh center received more than 70.8 million calls.

The Eastern Region center handled more than 23.4 million calls, while the Madinah center received more than 3.2 million calls.

The Ministry of Interior continues to expand the Unified Security Operations Centers across Saudi Arabia as part of efforts to provide security and humanitarian services through national expertise.
