SAMI signs new commercial aviation agreements during participation at Dubai Airshow 2025

DUBAI, November 23, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national defense and security company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), concluded its participation in Dubai Airshow 2025 with high-level delegation visits and a series of strategic agreements that strengthen its presence in the commercial aviation sector.
According to a SAMI press release, the company participated with a broad presence through its aerospace subsidiaries, including SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries, SAMI Airbus, and SAMI Aerospace Mechanics, demonstrating integrated capabilities across defense electronics and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.
During the airshow, SAMI Alsalam signed five major commercial aviation agreements, drawing significant industry attention. These include:
An agreement with SKYFive Arabia to integrate Air-to-Ground (A2G) connectivity systems for flynas aircraft.
A partnership with Jazeera Airways to explore base maintenance opportunities for its fleet.
An agreement with Air Atlanta Icelandic to collaborate on base maintenance services.
A cooperation agreement with Alpha Star Aviation to expand private aviation MRO services.
A partnership with ARTS Aviation Asset Management FZCO to enhance cooperation in maintenance, supply chain support, and technical consultancy.
SAMI’s participation at Dubai Airshow 2025 reflects the continued growth and transformation of Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector, supporting innovation, developing national talent, and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position in the global aerospace industry
