SAMI-AEC Signs Three Technology Partnerships at LEAP 2026

RIYADH, September 6, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — SAMI Advanced Electronics Company concluded its participation as a Diamond Sponsor at LEAP 2026 after signing three memoranda of understanding covering cybersecurity, international business and smart asset management.
The company, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries, used the event to showcase technologies developed by Saudi talent and strengthen cooperation with international industry partners.
Under its memorandum with Fortra, SAMI-AEC will explore opportunities to expand the international presence of cybersecurity solutions and pursue new business prospects. The companies also plan to develop a joint white paper to raise awareness of cybersecurity products and expertise.
A separate agreement with LogRhythm will focus on cybersecurity cooperation, business expansion in Saudi Arabia, and the exchange of technical and commercial knowledge.
SAMI-AEC also signed a memorandum with Alvest Arabia Equipment Services (AAES) to develop smart asset management and maintenance solutions, enhance asset protection and security services, and support digital transformation.
SAMI-AEC Chief Executive Officer Eng. Ziad bin Houmod Al-Musallam said the partnerships would combine the company’s solutions with the capabilities of its partners to build secure and resilient digital ecosystems.
He said the agreements also support the development of Saudi talent, technology localization and digital manufacturing, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
LEAP 2026 was held in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3.
