Saab Wins $1 Billion GlobalEye Aircraft Order in Middle East

STOCKHOLM, July 28, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Swedish defense company Saab has received an order for two GlobalEye surveillance aircraft from an undisclosed Middle Eastern country, Reuters reported.


The order is valued at 10.1 billion Swedish crowns ($1.04 billion), with deliveries scheduled for 2030.


GlobalEye uses active and passive sensors to detect and identify objects in the air, at sea and over land in real time, supporting surveillance and the early detection of threats.


Saab said it would not provide further details about the order or the customer.
