Russian Frigate Fires Warning Shots at Yacht in Channel, PA Media Reports

LONDON, June 16 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Sailors on board a Russian frigate fired warning shots at a civilian yacht in the Channel after the vessel came near it, PA Media reported on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
Britain’s Ministry of Defence did not immediately comment.
The report came after British commandos on Sunday boarded and intercepted a sanctioned Russian shadow fleet oil tanker in the Channel.
The operation was aimed at disrupting oil revenue used to support Russia’s war in Ukraine.
In a separate release on Monday, the British Navy said two British vessels had shadowed the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich in the Channel, west of Brest in France.
