RIYADH, December 1, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Russia and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on Monday to implement a visa-free travel regime for tourists and business travelers from both countries for stays of up to 90 days, according to statements from the Russian government and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Saudi–Russian Investment and Business Forum in Riyadh.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, speaking in a televised interview during his visit to the Kingdom, said legal procedures to exchange diplomatic notes and bring the agreement into force will follow.

In my opinion, this will make it possible to visit our countries visa-free at the beginning of next year,” Novak said.

He added that Russia and Saudi Arabia will also work to increase the number of airlines operating direct flights between the two countries.
