Royal Commission for Riyadh City Launches Riyadh Digital Innovation District

RIYADH, August 27 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has launched the Riyadh Digital Innovation District, an initiative designed to attract international technology companies, specialist talent and investment to the Saudi capital.
The district will concentrate on six fields: Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Cybersecurity, Computing and Cloud Services, the Internet of Things, Blockchain Technologies, and Robotics and Unmanned Aerial Systems.
The initiative will establish an integrated business environment connecting technology companies, professionals and entrepreneurs while supporting the expansion of Riyadh’s digital and knowledge-based economy.
Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City Eng. Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Sultan said the initiative would strengthen Riyadh’s position as a destination for technology talent, international companies and digital entrepreneurship. He linked its launch to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the development of a diversified economy supported by technological innovation and digital transformation.
